Canterbury School, 1961-2000.

Beginning in 1961, Canterbury was established as a college preparatory school of Christ Church and experienced, in its early days a strong reputation. But because of many contributing factors, Canterbury was closed in May of 2000. Christ Church's Vestry documented the final months of its interactions with Canterbury, its headmaster and board and released a description of those interactions to the parish and the wider community. It was released sometime in September of 2000 and describes some of those circumstances in detail. Click here for a copy.

If you are a former student of Canterbury and need documentation of your time as a student, please contact the Maryland Board of Education by calling (888) 246-0016. They hold all the records of Canterbury School.
